Scott Grayson

After nearly half a century as a Creative Director/copywriter (Hard to believe with that youthful appearance), Scott has been wearing many new hats since his move to Montclair a few years back. Delivering flowers for Studio Nectar, an extremely successful rice pudding business called “The Rice Stuff,” six pints sold to date and counting, Pickleball par excellence, rumor has it that he has one of the best, if not the best serves in all of Essex County. And most recently a fabulous substitute teaching stint at MKA, where the students seem to have really taken to him. Now acting. Scott believes if John Houseman could do it starting at 70 as Professor Kingsfield in “The Paper Chase,” then why not him as “The Larry” in “Made in Montclair.” To quote Scott, “If you can make it in Montclair, you can make it anywhere.” Time will tell!

Jess Appel

Jess Appel is thrilled to be playing Lauren in Meet Me in Montclair! Like Lauren, Jess recently moved back to town! Jess has already made friendships in MMIM that she knows will last a lifetime, and she can’t wait to keep connecting and reconnecting with new and old friends in the neighborhood, as well as checking out all of the best businesses in town! She currently works acting in Off and Off-Off Broadway theaters in NYC, substitute teaches, and is about to start dog walking! JessAppel.com(http://www.jessappel.com/) @realdealjessappeal
